Dorothy Burns, RN, MSN, MBA, CCM
Director, Florida Operations
Dorothy's diverse background and more than 35 years experience in healthcare and hospital management significantly influence her clinical and operational leadership of SeniorBridge's branches in the coastal communities of central Florida. Prior to joining the SeniorBridge family she served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne where she led strategic planning and monitored safety and quality control for surgical, trauma and patient care services. Before her promotion to Vice President, Dorothy was the Director of Patient Care Services and was instrumental in the development of the hospital's Heart Center. She went on to lead an award winning team designing stroke care and organ donation programs. Specializing in critical care, Dorothy's nursing career includes serving as a Nurse Manager in the Intensive Care Unit at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania and more than 12 years as a rehabilitative, home care and long term care nurse. She is an adjunct nursing faculty member at Brevard Community College in Palm Bay and at University of Central Florida in Orlando. Dorothy holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialty from Widener University in Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from University of Central Florida. She is licensed by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
Lisa Manfra, RN, CMC
Manager, Melbourne and Winter Park
Lisa is a Registered Nurse and a professional Certified Care Manager who joins the SeniorBridge family from the merger with Source Finders/Care Finders Inc. She found her passion in working with the geriatric population at Source Finders and is very involved in complex medical cases and guardianships as a compassionate, ethical patient advocate. Over the past 14 years, Lisa has been an intensive care nurse at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, a registered nurse specialist at Children's Medical Services, and a private duty nurse for a quadriplegic patient. Originally from New York where she had worked in sales and marketing, she moved to Florida and became a licensed Registered Nurse after receiving her Associate degree in Nursing from Palm Beach Community College with honors. After completing an acute care preceptor program and a critical care training program, she began her nursing career in the ICU, specializing in cardiac care. Lisa holds certification in care management from the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM) and continues to dedicate herself to making a positive contribution to the geriatric community.
Regional Sales Manager, East Florida
Jim brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare field with particular expertise in sales and business development, new product launches, joint ventures and startups. He started his career in healthcare at Beecham/Smith Kline Beecham, where he worked for 21 years, making his way up from sales representative to senior district sales manager. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Jim served as Vice President of Business Development at Strategica, Inc., where he successfully negotiated lucrative joint venture ancillary service contracts with hospitals and large multi-specialty practice groups. Other career highlights include introducing telehealth patient tracking initiatives and physician patient oversight software into the Florida market as Vice President of Business Development as Amedisys Home Health Care. and being as a the Eastern Regional Sales Director responsible for initial sales alignment, recruitment, compensation and sales reporting at Covidien. Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from University of South Florida in Tampa and completed a graduate course in Strategic Business Planning from Washington University at St. Louis. Jim has completed a number of trainings, including but not limited to: professional presentation skills, coaching the professional salesperson, situational leadership and referral focused sales training. Jim is also bilingual and proficient in Spanish.
Lead Business Executive
Chris has more than 5 years of healthcare marketing and sales experience, with particular expertise in new business development and territory management. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Chris served as Admissions Liaison at Indian River Center in West Melbourne, Florida developing market and territory awareness in Brevard County, increasing referral sources, and creating brand recognition. Previously, Chris also served as Area Director of Marketing and Recruiting at Clear Choice Health Care implementing marketing and sales strategies and at Life Care Center of Palm Bay as Assistant Executive Director, where he passed state and federal examinations to become a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of North Florida and plays an active part of his community serving on the Board of Directors for Brevard Heart Association, volunteering for Meals on Wheels in Melbourne, Florida and he is also a member of the Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida.
Robin Bures, RN
Robin comes to SeniorBridge with more than 20 years of professional nursing experience in the healthcare field, and more than 15 years in the field of homecare. For the past 8 years, Robin has been working as a RN Case Manager at Gentiva Homecare in Melbourne, supervising LPNs, Home Health Aides, and developing patient care plans. She started her career as a medical assistant for a cardiologist group in Fort Lauderdale, where she stayed for 5 years, specializing in Cardiac Rehabilitation at the Pacemaker Clinic. After finishing her nursing degree, Robin worked in area hospitals as a Certified Critical Care Nurse. She earned her Associate’s of Science degree from Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, and obtained her licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
Diane Dew, LPN
Diane was a Geriatric Care Manager for Senior Care Management Services prior to joining SeniorBridge in 2009. She has been a nurse for 15 years and has worked with people who have cerebral palsy, multiple medical conditions, and special needs. She worked closely with ARNPs and MDs, supervised caregivers, and taught infection control protocol to staff at Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Diane had also been an acute care nurse for patients in crisis at a psychiatric inpatient hospital at St. Barnabas Behavioral Health in Toms River, New Jersey. In 2004, Diane relocated to Florida, where she focused on the geriatric population as Charge Nurse on the Dementia Unit at Autumn House, in Vierra, a private assisted living facility. Diane graduated with honors in nursing from Ocean County Vocational Technical School in Toms River, New Jersey. While there, she achieved a clinical achievement award from the Nursing School Program. She is currently working on obtaining her Care Management Certification.
Cathy is a Melbourne-based social worker with more than 18 years experience in her field. Before joining the SeniorBridge team of home healthcare professionals in Melbourne, Cathy worked as a Social Worker in Austin Texas, for Bluebonnet Trails Community Services. There, she spent 6 years as a case manager for children with special healthcare needs and adults with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. Prior to these roles, Cathy worked for the Department of State Health Services, in the Regional Health Department for the Texas Health Steps program and Children with Special Health Care Needs for 8 years. Other career highlights include providing education, training and case management services in Austin Texas, and participating in a crisis intervention team for disaster relief efforts. Cathy is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, and obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Central Florida.
Nancy Kollanda, RN, BS, MS, CCM
Nancy brings more than 30 years of professional nursing experience with an extensive management background in acute care and skilled nursing facility settings. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her provision of patient-centered care and a strong approach to patient advocacy. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Nancy served as Care Manager at Health First, Inc. where she collaborated with fellow associates to ensure continuity of care, implemented medical policies and performed reviews for medical necessity. Other career highlights include evaluating and identifying health care delivery services as In-patient Nurse Case Manager at Wuesthoff Health System in Rockledge, Florida and conducting clinical assessments as RN Medical Analyst at Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nancy earned a diploma from The Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and both her Bachelors degree in business and Masters degree in Healthcare Management from California Coast University in Santa Ana, California.
Kathryn Morrow, RN, BSN
Kathryn brings more than a decade of professional nursing experience and strong advocacy for clients and families to her role as Care Manager. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Kathryn served as Cardiopulmonary Team Leader at Gentiva Health Services in Viera, Florida where she managed the cardiopulmonary program, educated staff on tenants of the program, supervised and evaluated clinical staff, developed and maintained relationships and presented in-services in the community. Other career highlights include admitting clients to service and developing plan of care as Registered Nurse for Gentiva Health Services and being responsible for performance improvement and quality assurance as Clinical Services Manager at Tender Loving Care Home Care in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kathryn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Kathryn holds licensure in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
