Denise Bonura, RN, MSN
Regional Executive Director
Denise brings more than 30 years of professional nursing experience with particular expertise in acute care, hospice and case management. Her strong skill-set has allowed Denise to develop long-term relationships and provide strategic marketing throughout the New Jersey area. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Denise served as Director of Case Management for St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey where she was responsible for the operations, performance and outcomes of the Case Management Department. Other career highlights include directing and coordinating social work as Administrative Director of Case Management at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and serving as Intake Coordinator at Hackensack University Medical Center Home Care. Among her accolades, Denise’s work has been published in The Psychological and Nursing Advisory Board of the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research and Transcultural Journal of Nursing. Denise earned her Registered Nurse diploma from St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Richmond, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Boston College and her Master of Science in Nursing degree in Nursing Administration, Transcultural Nursing from Kean University. Denise holds licensure in the state of New Jersey as a Registered Nurse and holds certification as a Hospice Administrator.
Allison Lazicky
Regional Director of Professional Relations
Allison brings more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field with an extensive background in sales and marketing management and particular expertise in census building and strategic planning. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Allison served as Regional Marketing Manager for Springpoint Senior Living in Princeton, New Jersey where she reviewed customers’ needs and focused on strategic closings, created yearly marketing plans as budgets and trained assisted living marketing directors on creating effective marketing plans to increase census. Other career highlights include working to increase professional referral sources as Director of Sales and Marketing at Watchung Ridge Assisted Living and supporting all regional marketing efforts including training and reporting as Area Marketing Director for Northeast Region at Summerville/Emeritus Senior Living. Allison also has professional experience in community relations and as a family support counselor.
Virginia Oliver, RN, CCM
Director of Client Services
Virginia has more than 34 years' experience in managerial, instructional, marketing/outreach, and clinical nursing. She has worked in medical-surgical, coronary/critical care, community health, school, and long-term care settings. For 12 years prior to joining SeniorBridge, Virginia served as Regional Director of Patient Services at Metropolitan Home Health Care of NJ (formerly Amserv Health Care), in which she managed a field staff of 750 in 4 branches. Among other previous responsibilities, she was a Staff RN/Charge Nurse in the Telemetry Unit and on the Medical-Surgical ICU at Union Hospital and Nursing Supervisor at Cranford Health and Extended Care. Virginia earned a nursing diploma at the Newport Hospital School of Nursing in Rhode Island and completed a certificate program in Geriatric Care. She is a licensed Registered Professional Nurse in New Jersey and New York and a member of the Educational Committee and Home Health Aide Committee of the Home Care Association of NJ.
Kathy Goldberg
Business Executive
Kathy brings more than 14 years of experience in the healthcare field with particular expertise in strategic marketing and planning. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Kathy served as Director of Admissions and Marketing for King James Care Center of Chatham where she developed multiple referral sources to maximize census, maintained complete admissions records including all personal and financial data, coordinated marketing events to increase knowledge of facility and creating a comprehensive medical marketing program to guide and inform physicians of what services are available to patients. Other career highlights include serving as a campus community liaison and providing educational presentations as Marketing Director at CareOne at Livingston Assisted Living and aggressively marketing the facility to ensure a constant flow of referral sources as external-internal Marketer at New Seasons at Mount Arlington. Kathy also gained experience managing daily operations as an Assistant Administrator and overseeing a 26-bed Alzheimer’s unit as Program Director and Director of Activities and Therapeutic Recreation. Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygeine from Farmingdale State University of New York, attended Introduction to Recreation courses at Kingsborough Community College and completed a 90-hour course for the Recreational Professional where she became ADC Activities Director/Certified.
Mary Andrew, RN, CMC
Care Manager
Mary brings to SeniorBridge 25 years of nursing experience in a broad range of disciplines, with particular expertise in geriatric care management. She began her nursing career working at several hospitals and two hospices throughout New Jersey and also has experience in consumer health care while at Warner Lambert. Mary's expertise in geriatrics includes educating patients with COPD, asthma, and other respiratory diseases while at Pulmonary & Allergy Associates in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. Mary is also skilled in management positions, working as Registered Nurse Care Manager for Senior Care Management in Princeton and primary nurse case manager, preceptor and clinical care provider at the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills & Hospice, both in New Jersey. While with Pulmonary and Allergy she conducted clinical research in pulmonary medications and smoking cessation. In 2008, Mary relocated to Florida, working as a geriatric care manager at The Cameron Group, an elder care management company in Orlando. While here Mary oversaw the quality of care provided to patients, acted as surrogate family member in emergency situations, and assisted client fiduciaries to develop plans for their clients. She earned her ASN from County College of Morris and worked as a respiratory therapist prior to getting her RN degree. Mary holds licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida and New Jersey and holds a certification in Care Management, with focus on the geriatric population.
Laura M. Broemmer, LCSW
Care Manager
Laura was President and founder of Social Work Consulting and Staffing, Inc., which provided training, auditing, and information on regulatory requirements to skilled nursing facilities in South Florida. Previously, Laura provided similar duties while working as a Clinical Consultant for Progressive Family Care in Plantation, Florida. Laura also served as Director of Social Services at Manor Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ft. Lauderdale; and Heartland of Tamarac, a skilled nursing and rehab facility in Tamarac, Florida. Laura is a Past State President and State Secretary of the Florida Health Care Social Workers Association, and Past President of the Florida Health Care Social Workers Association of Broward County. She has a BS in Social Work from Florida State University's School of Social Work, an MSW from the School of Social Work at Florida International University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Florida.
Patricia L. Cruz, RN
Care Manager
Patricia has had a very diverse career as a nurse, trainer, educator, public speaker, and quality auditor. Most recently, she has worked as a script writer, healthcare consultant, substitute teacher, and childcare provider. Earlier, she had been a professional information consultant at Roche Pharmaceuticals Call Center and for 13 years, a Registered Nurse at Patient Care, MSI, a major franchiser of community pharmacies where she served as Clinical Case Manager, Director of Education/Staff Development, and Director of Patient Services. Patricia has also served as President and consultant at Healthcare Instructional Services and Director of Patient Services and consultant at Express Medical Equipment Co, developing education and training programs and materials. She earned a BS in Nursing from Rutgers College of Nursing and also was a certified Home Health Nurse and CPR instructor.
Lori Stein Kayne, LSW, MSS
Care Manager
Lori Stein Kayne is very qualified in planning for the medical and social service needs of Seniors in the community. Most recently, she has been a Social Worker and Discharge Planner at Care One at Livingston, and before that, a Discharge Planner at The Canterbury at Cedar Grove and a Social Worker in the Transitional Care Unit at Mountainside Hospital. She was also the Director of Social Services at Montclair Community Hospital and, earlier, a Pediatric Social Worker at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, NJ. Ms. Kayne obtained a BA in psychology, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University, an MSS in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, and a Certificate in Gerontology from the Rutgers University School of Social Work, Continuing Education and Professional Development Program.
Starr J. Ramella, CSW
Care Manager
For more than 27 years, Starr has played diverse roles in the healthcare system. Most recently, she was a Geriatric Care Manager at Marcie Cooper Care Management and, before that, a Care Options Advisor for CareOne at Livingston, working with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team on care transitions. Starr has also served as a Geriatric Care Manager for Generations Counseling and Care Management and as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Marriott Senior Living Services. Additionally, she has been Director of Admissions at Manor Healthcare and a Social Worker at both Saint Peters and Saint Barnabas Medical Centers. Starr holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Kean University in Union, NJ, and is a Certified Social Worker in the state.
Margo L. Tucker, CSW
Care Manager
Margo was a Care Manager at Marcie Cooper Care Management before joining SeniorBridge, and previously worked as a Care Manager and Geriatric Psychotherapist at Generations Counseling and Care Management, where she provided psychosocial assessments for elderly clients, planned care, and offered individual and family therapy to clients. Earlier, Margo served as Community Group Leader of Mothers Morning Out Tenafly Recreation, arranging weekly discussions and speakers for the group. She worked for over seven years as a Social Worker at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York in the Geriatric, Vascular, Alternate Level of Care Units, and in the emergency room. Margo earned a Bachelor's degree in Education at the University of Miami and an MSW specializing in Gerontology at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Social Work. She is a Certified Social Worker in New York and a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey.
