Impaired physical mobility, diminished sensory awareness, chronic health conditions, and dementia can interfere with their ability to respond and adapt to emergencies.  Being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety, and losses that accompany disasters This presentation will help families and health professionals anticipate and cope with challenges these seniors face during a power outages, natural disasters and other emergencies.
