Healthy outcomes: Powerful statistics tell the story
We believe in outcome studies as a means of bench-marking our progress and reporting on our performance. Studies show people who receive Humana At Home services live longer and go to the hospital less often than those who don’t.
In 2015, Humana At Home allowed 388,000 people who began receiving Humana At Home services for the first time to have 718,000 more days at home because they were well enough to not have to go to the hospital.7
We are proud of this data - particularly since people receiving Humana At Home services take multiple medications and have limited capabilities with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and walking as well as more than 5 independent activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, money management and shopping.
Delivering amazing experiences for the people we serve
Our greatest compliments come from the families we serve. In fact, 9 in 10 of our current private pay clients say they would recommend our private pay services. We attribute much of our success in improving outcomes to our approach of looking beyond disease management to focus on improving the functional health of our clients.
