ON-GOING EDUCATION OF OUR STAFF ON COVID-19 SYMPTOMS AND RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS
All SeniorBridge associates receive regular training on COVID-19, its symptoms and recommended precautions provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We continue to monitor updates from the CDC and refine our infection control procedures as needed. In addition to frequent hand washing with soap and disinfecting household surfaces regularly, all caregivers and care managers have ready access to personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, gowns and face shields that they will use when clinically appropriate.
Clients who wish to have greater peace of mind have the option of requesting their caregivers and care managers utilize a complete set of personal protective equipment at all times while providing care. Please call your local branch to discuss available options.
CAREFULLY SCREEN AND TRACK THE HEALTH OF OUR CLIENTS AND ASSOCIATES
We carefully screen all clients and associates telephonically to assess their health status before sending a SeniorBridge associate into a home or facility to provide care. All SeniorBridge associates are required to undergo a daily temperature screening prior to starting their shift. We also track and record all interaction and information from the home visit to ensure we stay up to date with individual situations.
PROVIDE VIRTUAL CARE MANAGEMENT CONSULTATIONS
To promote social distancing and limit exposure, telephonic and virtual consultations are available for non-essential client interactions. Our team of licensed RN and Social Work care managers are available for telephonic consultations to assist clients and families in managing their unique healthcare needs. Please call your local branch to speak to a Care Manager about the services that are right for you.
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PAID TIME OFF FOR OUR STAFF
We have introduced additional paid time off for all SeniorBridge associates so no one has to ever choose between their job or staying home if they are sick.
